Tour Description

Day 1    SPLIT – ROGOZNICA – PRIMOŠTEN  (L)

Bike Course: Rogoznica – Primošten

Length: 14 km

Total ascend: 180 m

Highest point: 150 m

Surface: 100% paved road

Embarkation is in Split, where you board the vessel until 13:00h. We will leave Split and head to village of Rogoznica. Lunch is organized on board where you will have opportunity to meet fellow passengers. Rogoznica, once a fishing village, today is a well-known tourist destination. Cycle by the coast road to Rogoznica lake which is known as Dragon’s Eye (Zmajevo oko) because of its elliptical shape. Further cycling will take you to Šarić Courts. Descend to Primošten. Overnight in Primošten.

Day 2     PRIMOŠTEN – VODICE – MURTER – DUGI OTOK (B, L)

The following day we will head to Vodice, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia.  Cycle to Tribunj, picturesque Dalmatian village, famous for traditional donkey races. Further cycling will take you to Tisno, the first vilage in the island of Murter connected with the land by a bridge. Lunch on board and we will continue our cruise to island of Dugi Otok.  In the afternoon, we will visit the Telašćica Nature Park where entrance fee has to be paid on spot. Enjoy in a a pleasant ride from Sali to Telašćica and back. Optional Captain’s dinner onboard with an overnight in Sali.  

Day 3     SALI – BRBINJ – ZADAR  (B, L)

After breakfast, start cycling the main island road from Sali to the northern part of island of Dugi Otok. Dugi Otok is the largest island in the Zadar archipelago and has the most indented coastline. The island itself is sland shaped by stones and cliffs, so there are some caves and grottos to discover. After arrival to Brbinj, surrounded by unspoilt nature and calm bays Jaz and Lučina it is a real paradise for nautical experts. Here we will have lunch on board and while we start our cruise to city of Zadar, one of the most amazing towns in Croatia. Afternoon to your leisure to explore the town. Overnight in Zadar.

Day 4     ZADAR – PREKO/UGLJAN – TKON/PAŠMAN – VODICE  (B, L)

This route runs through two islands, island of Ugljan and island of Pašman connected by the bridge.  After breakfast, we will take a short cruise from Zadar to Ugljan. Cycling route starts in Preko the biggest village on the island of Ugljan and leads to island of Pašman. Get back on board in village of Tkon. We will sail towards Vodice while enjoying a great view of Kornati islands. Overnight in Vodice.

Day 5    VODICE – SKRADIN – ŠIBENIK (B, D)

Bike Course: Skradin – Šibenik

Length: 25 km

Total ascend: 270 m

Surface: 70% paved, 30% macadam road

Early morning cruise towards city of Šibenik offer a most amazing view of one of city highlights:  the fortress of St. Nicholas from the XVI century. We will set sail towards Skradin, situated near the Krka river and at the entrance to the Krka National Park. Start a cycling tour to Krka National Park (where entrance fee has to be paid on spot). The landscape of green vegetation and huge waterfalls in Krka National Park is just spectacular. National Park is very popular among cyclists because it has excellent cycling infrastructure and you can really experience all the beauty of this special natural phenomenon. After a break, we will cruise back to  Šibenik, followed by free afternoon for sightseeing in this historic town. Dinner on board and overnight in Šibenik.

Day 6     ŠIBENIK – TROGIR (B, L)

After breakfast, cycle towards the Fortress of St. Nicholas. It is located at the entrance of the St. Anthony Channel and offers beautiful views over the sea. Visit the Fortress which has recently been listed on the UNESCO world heritage list. Continue cycling to two small salty lakes, Vela and Mala Solina. Pass by the tourist village Solaris and return to city of Šibenik. Lunch on board and we will set sail town of Trogir, known for historic center which is considered the most preserved medieval town in central Europe. Overnight in Trogir.

Day 7      TROGIR – SPLIT  (B, L)

Bike Course: Čiovo Bike Tour                                                                               

Length: 26 km

Total ascend: 350 m

Highest point: 210 m

After breakfast, cycle across another island of the tour – island of Čiovo. The first part of the ride is flat until village of Slatine and it follows ascend to the church of our Lady of Prizidnica. Descend back to Slatine and ascend again to the highest point of the island, Kaštela. Return to Trogirwhere we will have lunch on board during the cruise back to Split. Free afternoon in Split for a walking tour. Overnight in Split.

Day 8     SPLIT  (B)

After an early breakfast say goodbye to your new friends and the crew.

SWIMMING BREAKS: If the weather is good and if we have time, we will stop for a regular swimming stops. Boat will wait for us in secluded bays or after the cycling and before departure to the next island.

CYCLING ROUTE: The length of the daily cycling routes is estimated and always depends on current local information. Sailing and cycling routes may be changed on the spot due to weather conditions and the capacity of the respective cyclists on board. Departure is usually during the morning hours, mostly after breakfast.

BICYCLES: bike rental possible on request.  A repair kit for personal bikes is obligatory.

FOOD: Breakfast and either lunch or dinner. During our cycling routes, we recommend stops at local restaurants where you can sample the local specialties. These meals are not included in the price of the trip. There is a possibility to book a captain’s dinner, which is paid directly on the spot and is offered by the captain and your tour guide.
