Tour Description

Welcome to Hercegovina and town of Mostar

We will start our Mostar & Kravica Waterfalls tour at 7:30 am from Split. Around 10:00 am, we will arrive in town of Mostar. Our main destination is renowned for its cultural and religious variety and, unfortunately, violent history. Town of Mostar is situated on the river Neretva and was named after the bridge keepers who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) in the medieval times. The Old Bridge was built back in 1566. This single-arched building that connects the left and right banks of the river Neretva is the most visited landmark and it is considered one of the absolute highlights of Islamic architecture. A local guide will show us all main landmarks and attractions, including The Old Bridge. Enjoy an unforgettable view of the Neretva River.

Another place to visit is the Old Town.  Stroll Coppersmith’s Street or Kujundžiluk just across the Old Bridge to the left. This cobblestoned street offers one of the most colorful shopping experiences. Take your time because here you can find almost everything from oriental rugs to copper decorations.

Restaurant URBAN – Taste of Orient

Time for lunch! We have found excellent food and drinks right in the Old Town, so do not miss the opportunity to taste local food at Urban – Taste of Orient restaurant, which has a magnificent view of the Old Bridge. The finest dishes of Bosnian and Herzegovina cuisine and a creative style in preparation and serving, offer You a unique opportunity to taste history. What sets Urban Taste of Orient apart from others is its homely atmosphere, sincere welcome, and small details.

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city, located on the banks of the emerald-green Neretva, and with a spectacular view of the Old Bridge, it will provide you with an unforgettable gastronomic experience of Bosnian cuisine, in a completely new, creative, and unique way.

Kravica Waterfalls

Our second destination is Kravica Waterfalls. After a visit to Mostar, we will get back on our vehicle, and in a 40-minute ride, we will be at the pearl of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kravica Waterfalls. This cascade is located on river Trebižat and the height of the waterfall is 28 meters. Nowadays, it is a popular swimming and picnic area and its popularity keeps increasing, judging by the number of visitors in the summer months.

You will see that the waterfalls are spectacular and worth a visit. This is the place you come to if you want to relax, enjoy, swim, and soak up the sun. There are several restaurants with a rich gastronomic offer. You can even stop by some small souvenir shops as well.

Finally, we will head back to the city of Split. We will be back in Split at around 06:30 pm, which is the perfect time for you to take a stroll down the seafront promenade lined with palm trees, bustling cafés, bars, and restaurants. It’s one of the most popular areas in the city, running the entire length of Split’s Old Town. Spend some time at the unofficial social hub of the city.
