Zipline is an adrenaline entertainment where a user can propel by gravity to travel from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable by holding on to. Adventure includes a training and a short nature walk.
Zipline is located 3 km from Omiš, in the canyon of the river Cetina. It consists of 8 wires that are 2100 meters long. The longest wire is 700 meters long. Maximum altitude is 150 meters.

Some ziplines are created for children and they are usually found on some adventure playgrounds. Inclines are shallow and the speed is low. In these cases, underneath is a seat or a safety strap.
Here we have in mind zipline tour. Usually it means a route through mountain landscape making primary use of ziplines and aerial bridges between platforms built in trees. Tourists attach themselves to a cable for safety and many are restricted to adults. Heights of the ziplines vary from a close to the ground to high up near the treetops.

This is what we have planned
Zipline is located near town of Omiš, only three kilometers away.
Before we start, an instructor will give you equipment and demonstrate how to behave on the zipline. Do not worry, no one will strap you in and push you off. First, you will practice on two short cables, both 25 meters long. At each cable, one of the guides demonstrates the descent while the second guide attaches the participants onto the cable and provides instructions. Please listen to the instructions and safety briefings. Instructors are very nice, funny and helpful. Ask them any question you have in mind.
After we have understood instructions, a short stroll to the first cable through stunning scenery follows. Beautiful canyon of the river Cetina has enjoyed the status of protected significant landscape since 1963. Along a 100 kilometers long course, the Cetina River has definitely something to offer. There is zipline, canyoning, kayaking, rafting, long walks by the river or sightseeing riverboat tours – as we said earlier, something for everyone. When walking along you will notice numerous medieval forts. Some are not easy to find, but others stand above the Cetina River. The most famous is the fort of Viseć – another hidden gem in the unspoiled nature of the Cetina canyon. The power of the Cetina River had been used for local mills ever since the 16th century. However, in 19th century mills started to serve as summer villa as they are renovated.
Finally, we will start. Zipline consists of eight wires that are 2100 meters long. The longest wire is 700 meters long. Maximum altitude is 150 meters. To cross the entire zipline requires two and a half hours.
First thing you will notice is that the view is fabulous. But when you get on the zipline you will see that the best part of it was the spectacular view of beautiful Omis seen in a perspective ziplining down.
